Double Header Dodgeball – Join the Fun!
Get ready for an action-packed season of dodgeball with the Syracuse Sports Association! Whether you’re here to compete or just have a blast with your friends, this league is for you. Here’s what you need to know to get started:
📅 When and Where:
Games take place every Thursday at 6:30 PM on the upstairs turf court at the CNY Family Sports Centre in Baldwinsville.
🏆 Teams and Playoffs:
All teams are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs—everyone gets a shot at the championship!
Teams consist of 5 players (at least one female is required), with up to 12 players allowed on your roster.
🔄 Subs and Playoffs:
Substitutes are allowed during the regular season as long as they’re listed on your online roster.
During playoffs, only players from your core roster are eligible to play—no subs.
⏳ Match Format:
Each night features two games per team.
Games are best-of-7 series, with 5-minute matches. The first team to win 4 matches takes the set, but all matches in the set will be played for tiebreaker purposes.
👕 Team Uniforms:
Teams are encouraged to wear matching shirts or jerseys to showcase team spirit and unity.
👀 Referee Fees:
Each game has two referees to keep things fair and fun. Teams contribute $15 per game for referee fees.
💰 Cost:
Registration is $275 per team, with a non-refundable $25 deposit required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due by the first week of play.
