SSA Men's 5-on-5 Basketball League
Location: Legacy Gym (formerly St. Matthew's Church) in East Syracuse

🏀 About the League:
Welcome to the court, gentlemen! The Syracuse Sports Association is proud to present the Men's 5-on-5 Basketball League, exclusively tailored for the fine gents over 40. Show 'em that experience always trumps youth at the historic Legacy Gym in East Syracuse!
Team Details:
Roster Requirements: Your dream team should consist of a minimum of 5 players, maxing out at 10. Only players on your online roster are eligible to play or sub.
Uniforms: Gear up, ballers! Team shirts with numbers are mandatory. Feel free to sport your own, or grab them from our SSA store. Don't forget to declare your team color during registration.
Referee/Scorekeeper Fees: Each game requires a $60.00 fee per team, payable directly to the scorekeeper prior to tip-off.
Gameplay: Each game boasts two 20-minute halves, with the clock taking a breather under one minute in the first half and two minutes in the second.
League Logistics:
Stay updated! Our online platform provides weekly score and standings refreshers.
Technicalities: A technical foul will set you back by $20, to be cleared before your next showdown. Collecting three techs in a season might lead to additional charges or time on the sidelines.
Forfeit Policy: Teams opting for a forfeit will still bear both teams' official fees for that game, unless SSA receives a 24-hour prior notice.

Calling all Average Joe's! If you love basketball but aren't looking for a super competitive scene, this league is perfect for you. The Syracuse Sports Association's Average Joe's 5-on-5 Basketball League is all about having a blast on the court with fellow hoop enthusiasts. It's a laid-back environment where you can showcase your skills, get some exercise, and make memories with your teammates.
League Details:
Skill Level: Recreational - perfect for everyday players of all levels.
Team Size: 5-10 players per team.
Uniforms: Matching team shirts with numbers are required (bring your own or buy from SSA).
Referee Fees: $50 per team, per game, paid to the scorekeeper before tip-off.

Syracuse Sports Association Fall Co-Ed Softball League
Get ready for a fall filled with fun and friendly competition at the Syracuse Sports Association Co-Ed Softball League!
League Details:
Format: Co-Ed (minimum of 4 females on the field at all times)
Games: 6 regular-season games followed by playoffs (all teams make playoffs)
Nights: Mondays
Location: Clay Park North
Start Time: 6:15 PM
Game Length: 7 innings or 70 minutes (no new inning after 65 minutes)
Registration:
All registration is online through the Syracuse Sports Association website.
Secure your spot: A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your team's place in the league.
Balance Due: The remaining team balance is due by the first week of games.
What We Provide:
Game Balls: The league will provide softballs for all games.

Get ready to hit the floor with SSA’s Coed Adult Ball Hockey League — a fun, fast-paced way to play hockey without the ice! Games are non-contact, played on a boarded indoor rink with referees provided.
League Night: Tuesday evenings.
Format: 5 runners + 1 goalie, with 1 female player required on the floor at all times. Min players needed 6 and max roster is 15.
Season: Regular season followed by playoffs. Players must compete in at least 3 games to qualify for postseason play.
Officials & Ref Fees: Two referees per game. Each ref is paid $30 per game. Each team contributes $30 per game toward referee fees.
Gear: Helmets required; all other padding optional. Goalies must be fully protected.

NEW LOCATION - DOUBLE HEADER DODGEBALL
Get ready for a season of high-energy dodgeball with the Syracuse Sports Association! It’s time to unleash your inner dodgeball champion, share plenty of laughs, and battle it out in style.
📅 When & Where:
Every Thursday at 6:30 PM at the CNY FAMILY SPORTS CENTRE on Jones Road in bville. Mark your calendars—it’s dodge, dive, and dominate time!
🏆 Teams & Playoffs:
All teams are guaranteed a playoff spot. Everyone gets their shot at the championship—it’s all-inclusive dodgeball fun!
👫 Team Composition:
Starting line up consists of 5 players on the court at a time, with at least 1 female required. Rosters can include up to 12 players, so build your squad with plenty of depth.
🔄 Subs & Playoffs:
Subs are allowed during the regular season if they’re listed on your online roster. Playoffs, however, are for your core roster only—no subs.
⏳ Match Format:
Two games per night. Each game is a best-of-7, with 5-minute matches. First to 4 wins takes the set, but all matches are played out for possible tiebreakers. Quick, action-packed, and tons of fun!
👀 Referees:
Two referees keep things fair and safe. Each team chips in $15 per game for officials.
👕 Team Spirit:

League Details:
Cost: $950 per team + $55 official fees per game
Deposit: $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your team's spot
Roster: 20 players (8 starters: 1 QB, 3 linemen, 4 receivers)
Game Length: Two 20-minute running-clock halves, 3-minute halftime
Key Information:
Registration: Complete your roster online by noon Thursday before week one. All players need valid email, phone, and full name.
Jerseys: Mandatory numbered jerseys. Colors first-come, first-served.

The Syracuse Sports Association's Average Joe's 5-on-5 Basketball League is all about having a blast on the court with fellow hoop enthusiasts. It's a laid-back environment where you can showcase your skills, get some exercise, and make memories with your teammates.
