This summer, get ready for an adventure of a lifetime with Beer Olympics! Hosted by the Syracuse Sports Association in collaboration with Wonderland Forest, we're inviting you to a weekend filled with excitement, competition, and laughter from July 26-28. Gear up for an escape into nature that you won't forget.

What's Brewing? 🍻 Time to rally your ultimate team (up to 10 people) and set off for the ultimate Beer Olympics in the heart of the enchanting Wonderland Forest. Whether you’re in it to win it or just for the fun, we’ve lined up a variety of challenges like Beer Pong, Flip Cup, and Cornhole to test your mettle and tickle your funny bone!

 

The Lineup:

• Friday, July 26: Check-in begins at 4 PM – start your adventure at our Opening Ceremony, connect with competitors, and soak up the forest vibes with live music, food trucks, and our Saloon. During the opening Ceremony in addtion to enjoying the music you will register your teams for each event. The Ceremony will begin at approximately 8pm.

• Saturday, July 27: The games kick off at 10 AM! Engage in a full day of beer-infused games and bonding. As the sun sets, join us for the Closing Ceremony where we'll celebrate the day's victories and party into the evening.

• Sunday, July 28: Wrap up your Beer Olympics experience with a Check-out by 11 AM, taking home a heart full of memories and stories to share.

Your team is your tribe for the weekend – and they're also your campsite buddies, with teams matching the max campsite size for ultimate togetherness. Don't worry about where you'll lay your head after a day full of fun – we've got your camping needs covered! Your registration secures your very own slice of the great outdoors for either tent or RV camping. Embrace the rustic beauty of Wonderland Forest with our designated camping areas, tailored to fit every style of outdoor enthusiast.

Tent Camping: Pitch your tent and get cozy under the stars. Our spacious tent sites offer the perfect spot to unwind and recount the day's adventures around the campfire.

RV Camping: Prefer to bring your home on wheels? We welcome RVs too! Please note, while we offer ample space for your RV, there are no utility hook-ups available. It's all about enjoying the natural ambiance and simplicity of camping life.

And remember, teams can share sites and request neighboring spots – making it the perfect setup for groups wanting to stay close to the action and each other.

Beer Olympics Team Registration Fee Structure

Total Team Fee: $1,000

Per Person Breakdown:

• $100 per individual (based on 10-person teams).

 

Fee Includes:

• Beer Olympics Souvenir Cup: Each participant receives a unique souvenir cup to commemorate the event.
• All-You-Can-Drink Keg Beer: Unlimited access to keg beer throughout the weekend for those of legal drinking age.
• Weekend Camping: Secure your spot in the great outdoors with camping included for the entire weekend. Set up your home base and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
• Registration for All Games: Participate in all the fun Beer Olympics games including Beer Pong, Flip Cup, Cornhole, Brew Memory Game, and more. Show off your skills and compete for glory!
• Keg Beer During Games: Enjoy the added perk of keg beer available during game competitions, keeping the spirit lively and the games flowing.

 

Additional Information:

• Teams must consist of up to 10 participants max.
• Registration covers the entire weekend of activities, amenities, and entertainment.
• Make sure to register your team at the Opening Ceremony on Friday night to participate in the weekend's games.

Beer Olympics Games Lineup!

Remember, registration includes participation in all the games, but teams must register at the Opening Ceremony on Friday night for each game they wish to compete in.

 

1. Brew Memory Game

Description: This game challenges your memory and knowledge of beer! Teams will match cards based on beer brands, types, or images in this memory-testing challenge.

Rules:

• Teams of 2 members. (3 teams per campsite max)

2. Blind Beer Tasting 

Description: Test your senses with a blind tasting competition, identifying different beers from samples provided.

Rules:

• 2 players per team: one tastes, one records. (2 max teams per campsite)
• Ten different beers to identify while blindfolded.
• Identify the type, brand, or flavor.
• Points for each correct identification.
• Highest score after all rounds wins.

3. Beer Pong

Description: The classic party game where teams aim to sink ping pong balls into their opponent's beer-filled cups.

Rules:

• Mixed-gender teams of two. Up to 3 teams per campsite.
• Ten cups per team, arranged in a triangle.
• Alternate throws trying to land the ball in cups.
• Opponents drink contents of landed cups.
• First to clear opponent's cups wins.
• No bouncing, trick shots, re-racks, or cup interference. Distractions are welcome but can not cross over to the oponents side, block cups or make contact with table or other players.

4. Flip Cup

Description: A relay race where teams race to chug beer and flip their cups.

Rules:

• Teams of 8.
• Drink beer, then flip your cup from the table's edge to land upside-down.
• Next player starts after the previous one succeeds.
• First team to flip all cups wins.

5. Cornhole

Description: A classic lawn game where teams aim to toss bags into a hole on an inclined board.

Rules:

• Mixed-gender teams of 2, with up to 2 teams per campsite.
• Alternate throws at the opposite board.
• Bags in the hole score 3 points; on the board score 1.
• Play innings until one team reaches or exceeds 21 points.
• Ground-touching bags score nothing.

 

Tournaments: Beer Pong, Flip Cup, and Cornhole will follow a Single Elimination Tournament format. (1 game of conrhole is a best of 3 match)

 

Blind Beer Tasting: Conducted in groups of approximately 20 participants at a time.
